About our Company

Alternative Power Systems, Inc is an experienced designer/installer of renewable energy systems and a consultant for energy efficiency and conservation. We are a licensed renewable energy contractor and the only company in Southern Utah certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) for solar installations.

While our company was incorporated in May of 2006, the principles bring with them over 30 years combined experience in the renewable energy field. Using this experience, advances in technology and the growing need for an environmentally friendly energy source, Alternative Power Systems seeks to bring renewable energy to everyday use. Rather than just a last option for remote cabins, their goal is to integrate solar and wind energy into mainstream use through out our community.

Alternative Power Systems, Inc works closely with home owners, builders and architects to aesthetically integrate renewable energy solutions while maintaining the property’s desired atmosphere. In addition to designing and installing energy production systems, our company's subject matter experts help design homes and offices that are energy efficient.
